Vecua Honey Wonder Honey Range | ad

It seems that the trending thing in the beauty world now is the ingredient "Honey". Everyone is going gaga over this phenomenal natural wonder that aids healing and provide moisturising properties.

Aptly named, Vecua Honey carries a whole bunch of skincare products that are made from honey and this time round, they are incorporating their "Honey Dew" range into Gifts which are excellent for the festive Xmas season.

Mind you that the range does not have the so-called fruit in it but just a play around the name (geddit geddit!?).

Tadaa!!! Here's the lot that's gonna make up your gift sets. **Chanel and Benefit perfumes not included :P**

Let me introduce you to them one at a time.

First off we have the Aroma Essence Shower for Hair & Body Citrus Sorbet. Smelling wonderfully of refreshing grapefruit, this body and hair spray is infused with Acacia Honey to provide hydration simultaneously. Good stuff to use after your shower.

Honey Dew Hand Cream in Maple Honey and Fresh Myrtle are up next which are $9.90 each. The whitish cream on the top belongs to the former and the bottom semi-opaque lotion is Fresh Myrtle. Both are equally on the thicker side of consistency which provides sufficient hydration but doesn't leave your hands sticky. I prefer the scent of Fresh Myrtle though as me love white florals fragrance ^_^.

Encased in a cute white bottle is their Honey Dew Milk & Oil Body Serum - orange. The consistency of the serum is emollient and absorbs quickly into the skin. Made of essential oils and strawberry, the serum smells lightly of the fruit which isn't overpowering (you know, some smells strongly of sweet syrupy scent that I can't even put my nose near it). Retailing at an affordable $14, I think its a steal.

Honey Dew Cooling Leg Gel is bundled together with the aforementioned Serum as a $38 Bath & Body Gift Set ($14 on its own). This strongly reminded me of The Body Shop's Peppermint Cooling Foot Lotion. Its cooling and minty (duh!!) and definitely helps moisturised my cracked heels. However, as this is a gel, it absorbs quickly into the skin and I wish that it lasted longer on my skin for that extra hydrating effect.

Its the first time I encounter a product that can applied to both hair & nails and its this product from Vecua Honey, the Honey Dew Nails & Hair Oil in Flower Gelee. With a refreshing floral and subtle green apple scent, this oil leaves my skin supple and hair silky (those dang fly-aways can finally rest in peace) all thanks to the ingredients of Chamomile Flower Oil and Wild Rose Oil.

Last but not least is their Mini Orange Osmanthus Body Cream Balm which comes in a gift set with the Cooling Leg Gel ($38 per set). To be honest, I can't quite get used to the balmy thick texture of the cream. Its so thick that you need some time to spread the products, thus a little goes a long way. So you can totally imagine how excited I was to slather this onto my heels which acts as a barrier to stop my heels from cracking further. Am in love :)

All in all, I am pretty excited that Vecua Honey offers a nice range of gift sets at an affordable price. Definitely recommend checking them out at their Beauty Kitchen at Raffles Holland Village or Tokyo Hands at Westgate and Orchard Central. Do head over to their website for more info and to purchase too.

Huge thanks to Vecua Honey for your generosity. ^_^
